  1. Hello! I am Anita Nielson and I am a school counselor for the Aberdeen Public School District 6-1. I have been a school counselor in rural Alaska for a year and have been with Aberdeen for the rest of my career. I am always looking for advice and suggestions that will help me connect with my elementary students. Having the opportunity to learn from others that have found successful strategies is inspiring as I am a firm believer that every child can learn and I just have to help them find their strengths and confidence in their learning.
